About the Company

As a sufferer of skin allergies and eczema all my life, I decided to research the causes of these conditions. I also wanted to focus on natural, non-pharmaceutical treatments of controlling these skin conditions. This is where I found that soap, and in particular the chemicals in it, are critical factors.

In the meantime, I appreciate pleasantly scented soaps for use in the bath and shower, and this caused me to research therapeutic effects of scent, also called aromatherapy.

Finally, in 2007, I set out to develop a soap that would be mild, cleansing and healing to the skin; provide a nice, but not overpowering scent; and still be good for the environment. Serene 'N' Clean soaps are the result of that research, and are available for your enjoyment!
